News CNC blog - (06/13/2008) With several months of hard study and a bit of luck, we are on the last leg of learning for our new CNC router. Little things have taken time such as learning the difference between stepper motors and servomotors. Servo drives are not a simple thing either, with literally hundreds of manufactures out there, Gecko drives are our choice. The combo board from Bob Campbell wins out for an easy to understanding of the hookup and has an extra led board for monitoring each motor.
