Watch the following live video demonstrations to witness various feature highlights of the Aggressor II.

Agressor II: Swinging Payload Stability with Autopilot

The following situation shows the Aggressor II Helicopter and Autopilot in the situation of managing a moving payload. The video demonstrates the ability of the Autopilot to correct the Helicopter real time and correct the situation of an X lb payload that is moving via a connected swinging rope. The autopilot’s program will continually make corrections to the helicopter to balance and manage the payload. This is an example of the sophistication and capability of the platform to manage itself in the most turbulent of situations.

Agressor II: AutoPilot R/C Remote Control Mode - Only

The following situation shows the Aggressor II Helicopter and the R/C Remote Control mode, with the ability with the ability to auto-takeoff, in flight assistance, GPS handled hovering and auto-landing feature. Also, the video shows the ability for the Autopilot to handle a complete shutoff of the R/C Remote control and the ability to automatically use the ‘Home’ mode that returns the Helicopter to specified GPS spot, hover and automatically land, without pilot intervention. The ability to have a complete autonomous flight managed only from an R/C control demonstrates the ability to easily manage the Aggressor II under non laptop situations.

Special chopper helps UHP investigate accidents

SALT LAKE CITY -- Over the weekend, you might have seen an aerial shot of the fatal accident on I-15. The Utah Highway Patrol used its latest tool to take the photo. A helicopter that looks like the real thing but weighs only about 20 pounds takes great pictures of accident scenes like the one on Saturday. One person died when a tow truck swerved into oncoming traffic. Sgt. Brad Horne operates the helicopter's remote control devices that have been in use for the past year. He says the tool has many benefits, namely cost and time. "We can do in four to eight minutes what used to take us almost an hour or two and a half hours," he said. Troopers use a computer system to convert the pictures into accurate scale diagrams. The device also is cheaper than bringing out the real chopper.

Agressor II: AutoPilot Base Station and RC Mode

The following situation shows the Aggressor II Helicopter and Autopilot with the ability to begin flight with the RC Mode controller. Then the user has the ability switch modes from the RC Autopilot to full autopilot on the Ground Station Software. The Aggressor II then completes a mission, entirely based upon the pre-generated way points, altitude, speed, hover commands and altitude instructions from the Laptop. The craft will then autoland upon completion of the mission. The ability to switch real time from RC mode to Base Station mode demonstrates the unique ability for the Aggressor II to provide the ultimate in simple flight and mission completion.
